General biography:

When Kuno was about 5 years old she witnessed her parents being brutally murdered by her older brother.

And it got worse.

Due to the nature of the murder, the motivations behind it, and how it was carried out, Kuno was thought to have been killed along with her parents. This put a very young girl out into the world with no parents or guardians to speak of, no home, and with substantial emotional damage to top it all off.

Nearly 6 weeks later, she found herself hiding in a scrapyard several miles from where her home had been. She was discovered by the owner of the property, a large Russian man, who took her in. It took many months for her to even speak to the man, and more for her to shake the deep depression that she had fallen into. As time passed she became more active, and her sadness turned to anger. Over the years she managed to learn a great deal about firearms, ammunition, and how to use them from her new guardian, who happened to be quite the engineer, with the odd hobby of building incredibly powerful guns. This has carried over into her recent career as a bounty hunter.

She also learned an interesting style of Tai Chi from a close friend of the Russian, but she never really understood that it was meant to be a peaceful art.

Personality:

Kuno will shoot you.

No, it doesn't matter who you are, where you are, what you're doing, or even how you're doing it. If you're in her way there will be holes in you.

She generally appears calm, but behind her cool exterior, she's 100% pissed off. Kuno isn't the best people person, not that she'll avoid contact, but she'll still be frigid, even to those she knows personally. Which is more than a little ironic.

In the event she loses composure, to the point where all that emotional armor breaks, there is a distinct change in her demeanor. While composed, she'll seem a merciless killer, fearless, and without remorse. But behind all of that, it's quite the opposite. Her true emotions, when she loses the ability to hide them, are incredibly volatile. Expect everything from anger, paranoia, regret, depression, to a substantial amount of fear to shine through when she loses control.

The effects this has on her fighting style are subtle. Her accuracy drops considerably, but is countered by an increase in her rate of fire. Where before she would shoot when her aim was sure, she'll just shoot wildly in your general direction. She'll also switch from offense tactics to a more defensive strategy, but be warned, backing her into a corner is ill advised, as there is no guarantee they'll be able to identify your body.

Abilities:

Kuno has a great deal of experience with firearms. Almost 10 years of hands on training and use in combat, she's a force to be reckoned with if she's holding a gun.

It would however, be unwise to disarm her.

Along with her marksman expertise, She trained in Tai-chi for nearly 4 years. Over the time since then, Kuno has corrupted the basic philosophy of the art. Her Tai-chi has lost any semblance of peace and fluidity, resulting is a rather intricate, yet brutal martial art that focuses on breaking major joints in an effort to cripple the opponent.

While not as lethal without her guns, forcing Kuno into a hand to hand fight will put you at greater risk, should you in fact be a better fighter.

Some unforeseen circumstances have recently bestowed upon her what can only be described as a "limitless" control over fire. Completely immune to the ill effects flames would have on a normal person, she can generate a massive amount of heat. This can result in the ignition of the very air around her, allowing her to create concentrated blasts of fire, massive infernos, and what amounts to a second skin made of superheated oxygen.

This ability is all well and good for life and death situations, but for the most part she relies on her weapons and fighting experience. This is primarily due to the fact that her clothes have a tendency to catch fire when exposed to such intense heat.

Fun facts:

Kuno can't swim. Her home "world" has no non-frozen large bodies of water, and her childhood wasn't exactly full of family trips to the pool.

Kuno is often mistaken for a guy. She also has a very blunt, serious and slightly monotone voice, this doesn't help matters.

Kuno has an ultimate move. This is not just a simple finisher, nor does it cause very much collateral damage, but you can be very certain of one thing. It. Is. FATAL. No other information is available currently.

In an odd twist of irony, Kuno can't stand cigarette smoke, and by association, smokers in general. She spent a good deal of time breaking her "adoptive father" of his habit, through less than honest means.

Kuno is a terrible, terrible liar. She's generally aware of this, and will give incredibly vague answers to get around it, but if put in a situation where she has no choice there's an incredible delay between the question and the false answer.
