Bio:
This is Seth.

Seth is very good at exactly TWO things, pointing out the obvious, and getting the stuffing beat out of him.

And that's about as far as it goes, classic case of amnesia means he's got no idea what his past was like. Not that it bothers him much, he's pretty content as is.

He was discovered by a mercenary who was investigating an explosion which had leveled a sizable portion of the city. One thing led to another and then the government was after them. Various misadventures followed, _{and an entire universe may have been destroyed. Not on purpose though. Really!}

Personality:
Seth is a pretty carefree person, and generally pretty oblivious to the sheer number of people trying to kill him. Most of the worrying is done by his frequent sidekick, the mercenary "Brave" who has saved his ass from everything up to and including a giant robot.

If Seth considers you a friend he'll go out of his way to help you, but don't expect him to do you much good unless the situation is life or death. He doesn't take betrayal very well either. He's far too trusting for his own good, and having that trust broken is a difficult thing for him to adjust to.

Further advice, though you won't see Seth get angry very often, don't go out of your way to piss him off. While he's not formidable by any means, he. will. not. stay. down. You'll be in for a very, VERY long fight.

Abilities:
If you wanted to describe Seth's primary ability in one word, that word would be "Determination"

The true nature of his ability is more complex. His body absorbs energy, though inefficient when dealing with ambient energies like heat and light, focused energies such as kinetic and electric are almost fully absorbed.

This effect protects him from a great deal of the injury that would result from heavy impacts, or otherwise damaging attacks. He could probably make it through getting hit by a train with only a few minor cuts and bruises.

Generally he's pretty easy to knock down, but KEEPING him down is the real challenge. Because his ability works subconsciously, if Seth decides he's tire of getting kicked around, or feels he needs to protect someone, his powers will adjust to his intentions, and he can become nigh immovable by completely draining the kinetic energy from any incoming attacks.

The side effect of absorbing all this energy with no means of releasing it is rather dangerous. Seth's body can be overloaded with energy. Try to imagine filling a balloon with water, the more you fill it the better it is, but fill it too fast and it'll pop.

If Seth is overloaded, all the energy he has stored up to that point will be released in a violent shockwave, severely damaging his body. The size of this shockwave is related to how much energy Seth currently has stored, so the longer it builds the more damage it'll cause to the surrounding area.

Due to the nature of his ability, sharp weapons and piercing attacks (i.e. stabbing, bullets) are no less effective on him than any other person. This is a rather inconvenient weakness considering how many people carry weapons.

Fun Facts:
Seth really couldn't care less about his forgotten past. Kind of odd considering how much trouble he seems to be in because of it.

Seth gets lost. Frequently. Either because he tends to get lost in thought while he's walking, or because he's more concerned with getting away from whatever he's running from to care where he ends up.

Because of his ability, Seth doesn't need to eat or sleep much. This does not stop him from doing so anyway.
